Four-star hotels, transportation, and guided tours are part of the trip, so all you plan is what to pack. We are building the itinerary now, and dates, final pricing and the route go to our interest list before they are published anywhere else.

The things people ask us most before they sign up. Anything not covered here, call or text and you will get Carlos or Kallie, not a call center.
Can my spouse come?
Yes. Spouses are welcome, and so are children. You are the one earning the renewal hours, but the trip itself is for whoever you want to bring.
Is airfare really included?
Yes. The price includes airfare from either LAX or SFO. You can also buy the trip land only and book your own flights, which is what most people do if they want to extend the trip and add another adventure on either end.
What is included, and what is not?
Included: your hotel, all breakfasts, usually two group dinners, full transportation while you are there, and every day trip and group tour on the itinerary. Not included: lunches and the meals outside those group dinners, anything personal, and airfare if you choose the land-only option.
What if I am traveling alone?
You are very welcome, and plenty of people come on their own. Room pricing is based on two people sharing, so a room to yourself carries a single supplement. It depends on the trip, but it usually falls somewhere between $700 and $1,500.
Is there a deposit or a payment plan?
Both. You hold your spot with a non-refundable deposit, and the balance is split evenly across four monthly payments, paid by Zelle. No financing, no interest, no service fees.
What are the passport requirements?
A valid passport is always required, and it must not expire within six months of the trip. If yours is close to that window, renew it before you book. Check the expiration date now rather than the week before we leave.
How do the renewal hours work on a trip?
Five of your renewal hours are taught live while we are there. The other 35 hours are included free, and you schedule them whenever you like after you get home. Between them you have the full 40 hours for your RCFE and ARF renewal, from a CDSS-approved vendor, #2000778.
What if I just renewed?
Come anyway. You will still get your five hours on the trip, and the other 35 hours do not expire, so you can use them whenever your next renewal comes around.
How big is the group?
Small on purpose. Spain ran with 25 people, and we keep the groups around that size so it still feels like traveling with people you know rather than a tour bus.
Is the trip tax deductible?
Continuing education travel is often a deductible business expense, since you are earning required renewal hours. It depends on your situation, so always check with your CPA first. We are not accountants.
